Objectives Met
 Level 1

Student successfully meets objective 1 by developing a research design. Student has trouble collecting usable data and completing the analysis and interpretation portion of the lesson.

 Level 2

Student successfully meets objectives 1 and 2 by developing a research design and successfully making observations and collecting usable data. However, the analysis and interpretation is all or substantially incomplete.

 Level 3

Student successfully meets objectives 1 and 2 by developing a
research design and successfully making observations and collecting usable data.  They partially meet objective 3 by analyzing data but fail to present the complete suite of analysis and interpretation outlined in the procedures.

 
 Level 4

Student successfully meets objectives 1, 2 and 3 by developing a research design according to the procedural specifications, successfully making observations and collecting usable data, and analyzing the data collected. He or she presents his or her findings both visually and verbally.
